Revenue Audit Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform audits on franchisee sales data, operational practices, financial statements, royalty reports, and business processes to ensure adherence to the Franchise Agreement and Center Operations Manual.

• Verify the accuracy of monthly royalty reports.

• Execute audits of financial data and reporting for centers.

• Present findings from audits and address any follow-up inquiries.

• Address questions related to royalty reporting and audit processes.

• Conduct additional audits as necessary.

• Oversee and prioritize various tasks and processes to achieve departmental objectives and meet deadlines.

• Offer assistance to franchisees within the network.

⛳️ Requirements

• Basic understanding of accounting theories and principles.

• Skill in capturing and documenting precise information; learns topics thoroughly and in detail; completes tasks meticulously; provides necessary details when requested; maintains organized records; capable of making independent decisions.

• Familiarity with basic financial terminology/concepts such as cash flows, operating profit/loss, and net income, along with the ability to conduct financial analyses.

• Ability to create simple reports using fundamental functions in software, write basic queries; identifies necessary information for report completion and recognizes existing reports produced by others.

• Strong communication skills via phone and email, with the capability to discuss audit results by preparing a comprehensive final report.

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) is preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree or an international equivalent is preferred.

• Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in conducting financial analysis is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, database creation/management, etc.) or similar software is required.

• Availability to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.
