Retirement Plan Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare, review, and submit annual Form 5500 returns along with associated schedules.

• Execute annual nondiscrimination testing, encompassing ADP/ACP, top-heavy, and coverage assessments.

• Analyze and implement ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations pertaining to retirement plans.

• Collaborate with plan sponsors, auditors, and consultants to address compliance challenges.

• Provide consulting on plan designs.

• Maintain precise records of filings and compliance testing outcomes.

• Stay updated with regulatory changes and relay updates to the team.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in ERISA compliance, Non-Discrimination Testing, and preparation of Form 5500 is essential.

• Proficiency with FT William software in both compliance and 5500 modules is mandatory.

• Experience with PensionPro or other pension-related platforms is required.

• Thorough understanding of IRS and DOL regulations related to qualified plans is needed.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and Excel skills are essential.

• Outstanding customer service abilities, both verbal and written, are necessary.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

• Keen attention to detail, compliance with filing requirements, and accuracy are crucial.

• ASPPA or CEBS designation (QKA, QPA, or CPC) is highly preferred.
