This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Maintain current membership within a designated territory while achieving daily production goals.
• Engage in telephonic and in-person outreach, which includes community events, provider and community office visits, as well as home visits.
• Clearly explain, communicate, and assist members with all Wellcare offerings.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, audit, and corporate guidelines.
• Research, analyze, and document member inquiries related to program eligibility.
• Address application and service inquiries regarding available programs and services.
• Conduct outreach and follow-up communications to educate members and serve as a liaison between members and Wellcare departments.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with current members by providing year-round support and assistance.
• Identify unmet member needs and offer education and assistance accordingly.
• Tackle objections and retain members by adapting delivery methods.
• Identify solutions to member concerns and issues.
• Record interactions and marketing leads in Salesforce and Facets.
• Track and enter communication outcomes and update member databases.
• Perform administrative tasks using various computer systems.
• Assist in training others and undertake higher-rated responsibilities for professional development.
• Carry out other assigned tasks while complying with all policies and standards.
• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must reside in one of New York's 5 Boroughs: Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, The Bronx, or Queens.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends is necessary.
• Prior experience in Medicare sales and community engagement is highly desirable.
• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• An Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of healthcare-related experience is preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience is preferred.
• A Driver’s License may be required by certain plans.
• Specific language skills may be required by some plans.
• Ability to meet and surpass quality assurance standards is essential.
• Must be capable of undergoing intensive internal training and successfully passing required assessments with a minimum score of 85% within no more than 2 attempts.
• Ability to conduct needs-based assessments and respond to questions regarding product features, benefits, and provider networks.
