This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.
• Evaluate home sleep test outcomes, detect trends and irregularities, convey results, and address customer inquiries.
• Facilitate virtual setups for CPAP and BiPAP machines.
• Adjust CPAP/BiPAP pressure in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Analyze and oversee compliance data from cloud-connected PAP devices.
• Recognize therapy challenges or non-compliance issues and proactively assist patients in troubleshooting.
• Conduct virtual mask fittings and suggest options to enhance seal and comfort.
• Provide education to patients regarding the usage, cleaning, and maintenance of PAP equipment.
• Assist patients with resupply schedules and the replacement of masks, cushions, filters, and tubing.
• Support patients facing therapy difficulties such as dryness, leaks, and discomfort.
• Record patient interactions, troubleshooting processes, and follow-up strategies in internal systems.
• Keep up-to-date with DME products, PAP accessories, and best practices for sleep apnea treatment.
• Work collaboratively with clinical, support, and logistics teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Share suggestions for enhancing the follow-up program and improving the patient experience.
• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in DME is required.
• Familiar with various mask types, resupply guidelines, and best practices for successful long-term PAP therapy.
• Proficient in virtual education, troubleshooting, and conducting mask fittings.
• Demonstrates a patient-centered approach and a commitment to providing compassionate support.
• Comfortable with telehealth platforms and cloud-based compliance systems.
• Knowledgeable about Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Home Medical Equipment (HME) for sleep apnea care.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capable of maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Adaptable and able to respond swiftly in a remote, fast-paced, and collaborative setting.
