This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Deliver virtual psychotherapy to clients in California who are dealing with anxiety, depression, mood issues, chronic stress, burnout, and life transitions.
β’ Evaluate client needs and create personalized treatment plans based on their presenting issues and therapeutic objectives.
β’ Employ CBT, ACT, DBT-informed techniques, mindfulness-based approaches, and other suitable modalities.
β’ Assist clients in developing coping mechanisms, emotional regulation techniques, resilience, and strategies for managing anxiety and depressive symptoms.
β’ Provide culturally responsive, client-centered care that is tailored to each individual's experiences, background, and aspirations.
β’ Complete clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
β’ Collaborate with the extended care team as necessary.
β’ Adhere to all relevant professional, licensing, ethical, and regulatory standards.
β’ Valid, unrestricted California license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or licensed Psychologist (PsyD/PhD).
β’ Excellent clinical assessment and psychotherapy capabilities.
β’ Experience in providing trauma-informed care and/or addressing trauma, PTSD, grief, loss, or similar issues.
β’ Dedication to evidence-based and evidence-guided therapeutic practices.
β’ Proficiency in using technology and telehealth platforms.
β’ Enthusiasm for delivering culturally responsive, client-centered care.
β’ Availability for a minimum of 20 hours per week on a recurring basis.
β’ Preference for candidates with experience treating PTSD, complex trauma, traumatic stress, grief, and bereavement.
β’ Training or experience in EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), or other evidence-based trauma interventions is preferred.
β’ Experience providing grief counseling or bereavement support is preferred.
β’ Experience with trauma-informed care via telehealth is preferred.
β’ Licensure in multiple states is advantageous.
β’ Membership in Social Work, Counseling, MFT, or PSYPACT compacts, where applicable, is preferred.
β’ Proficiency in additional languages, particularly Spanish, is highly desirable.
β’ Experience working with diverse or underserved populations is preferred.
β’ Applicants may live outside California, but must hold an active California clinical license.
β’ Associate-level applicants are not currently accepted.
β’ 100% remote telehealth practice.
