Research Systems Data Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and testing of research protocols within EMR infrastructure to ensure compliant billing practices.

• Collaborate with clinical researchers to ascertain data requirements for clinical research initiatives, nursing excellence, and strategic projects.

• Support the Research Office and IT in ensuring institutional compliance and oversight functions.

• Identify gaps in research data and enhance, create, and implement processes that improve data quality and reliability.

• Convert complex research, contract compliance, operational, and financial processes into system builds.

• Create and finalize research protocol builds in EPIC, Cerner, and additional systems.

• Design and develop reports utilizing Cerner, Epic, Power BI, Strata, and clinical trial management systems.

• Create and manage research reports for protocol development, patient screening, eligibility, and requested data points.

• Develop REDCap databases for ULHRO, Nursing Education and Research, and other requirements.

• Create and sustain monthly reports featuring key metrics and productivity for leadership evaluation.

• Occasionally work additional hours to meet deadlines or support special projects.

• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related Healthcare field (required).

• Equivalent work experience is acceptable.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare data (required).

• Experience with Epic and/or Cerner (required).

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical research (preferred).

• Experience with Academic REDCap (preferred).

• Licensure: Not applicable (required).

• Certification: Not applicable (required).

• Must work First Shift (United States of America).

• Must adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
