This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Become thoroughly familiar with the trial protocol, Case Report Forms (CRFs/eCRF), off-site manual, supporting documents, procedures, timelines, and relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Communicate effectively with the Illingworth research nurse project manager, research nurse manager, site staff, and Principal Investigator.
• Maintain precise documentation and electronically transfer data while ensuring the confidentiality of subjects, compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and data protection regulations.
• Attend Site Initiation Visits and other mandatory meetings.
• Coordinate and conduct subject trial visits both on-site and off-site with the RN team.
• Ensure that trial procedures and assessments adhere to the protocol and relevant SOPs, with accurate data collection.
• Administer trial medication and manage safe storage, transfer, and accountability.
• Process, securely package, and dispatch samples while coordinating with courier companies and organizations.
• Assist in identifying eligible patients and recruiting them into clinical trials.
• Provide information and support for patients undergoing care on-site and off-site.
• Accurately report adverse events, serious adverse events, and suspected unexpected serious adverse reactions.
• Report any suspected misconduct or fraud and assist with additional follow-up as needed.
• Must be a registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in research and clinical trials, along with GCP certification.
• Familiarity with research design and methodology is preferred.
• Experience and knowledge of clinical nursing skills such as Venepuncture and ECG is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently with initiative within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficient knowledge of computer software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at a minimum.
