Research Nurse – Per Diem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Stay fully informed about the trial protocol, Case Report Forms (CRFs/eCRF), off-site manual, supporting documents, procedures, timelines, and pertinent SOPs.

• Engage in communication with the Illingworth research nurse project manager, Research nurse manager, site personnel, and Principal Investigator.

• Ensure precise documentation and electronic data transfers while upholding subject confidentiality, GCP, and compliance with data protection regulations.

• Participate in Site Initiation Visits and other necessary meetings.

• Organize and execute on-site and off-site subject trial visits alongside the RN team.

• Carry out trial procedures and assessments in accordance with the protocol and SOPs, while collecting accurate data.

• Administer trial medication and ensure its secure storage, transfer, and accountability.

• Process, safely package, and dispatch samples while coordinating with courier companies and institutions.

• Aid in the identification of eligible patients and facilitate patient recruitment, offering information and support for both on-site and off-site care.

• Diligently report adverse events, serious adverse events, and suspected unexpected serious adverse reactions.

• Notify Illingworth and associated companies of any suspected misconduct or fraud.

⛳️ Requirements

• A registered nurse with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.

• Experience in research and clinical trials, along with GCP certification.

• Familiarity with research design and methodology is desirable.

• Proficiency in clinical nursing skills such as Venepuncture and ECG is preferred.

• Capability to work independently with initiative as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Proficient knowledge of computer software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at a minimum.
