Research Nurse, Per Diem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Stay thoroughly knowledgeable about the trial protocol, Case Report Forms (CRFs/eCRF), off-site manual, supporting documentation, procedures, timelines, and relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Engage in communication with the Illingworth research nurse project manager, research nurse manager, site personnel, and Principal Investigator.

• Ensure accurate documentation and electronically transfer data while maintaining subject confidentiality and adhering to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and data protection regulations.

• Participate in Site Initiation Visits and other essential meetings.

• Coordinate and conduct subject trial visits both on-site and off-site with the RN team.

• Execute trial procedures and assessments in accordance with the protocol and SOPs while collecting precise data.

• Administer trial medication and ensure its proper storage, transfer, and accountability.

• Process, securely package, and dispatch samples while coordinating with couriers and relevant organizations.

• Assist in identifying eligible patients and recruiting them into clinical trials.

• Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and suspected unexpected serious adverse reactions.

• Notify Illingworth and associated companies of any suspected misconduct or fraud.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered nurse with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.

• Experience in research and clinical trials along with GCP certification.

• Familiarity with research design and methodology is desirable.

• Preferably possess experience and knowledge of clinical nursing skills such as Venepuncture and ECG.

• Ability to operate independently with initiative within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

• Proficient working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at a minimum.
