Research Nurse – Per Diem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.

📋 Description

• Stay thoroughly informed about the trial protocol, Case Report Forms (CRFs/eCRF), off-site manual, and related documents, procedures, timelines, and applicable SOPs.

• Engage in communication with the Illingworth research nurse project manager, Research nurse manager, site personnel, and Principal Investigator.

• Ensure precise documentation and electronic data transfer while upholding subject confidentiality, GCP, and data protection regulations.

• Participate in Site Initiation Visits and other mandatory meetings.

• Organize and finalize subject trial visits both on-site and off-site with the RN team.

• Execute trial procedures and assessments in accordance with the protocol and SOPs, collecting accurate data.

• Administer trial medication while ensuring its secure storage, transfer, and accountability.

• Process, safely package, and send samples, coordinating with courier services and organizations.

• Assist in identifying eligible patients and recruiting them into clinical trials.

• Provide information and support to patients receiving care on-site and off-site.

• Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and any suspected unexpected serious adverse reactions.

• Notify Illingworth and associated companies of any suspected misconduct or fraud.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered nurse with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.

• Preferred: Experience in research and clinical trials with GCP certification.

• Desirable: Knowledge of research design and methodology.

• Preferable: Familiarity with clinical nursing skills such as Venepuncture and ECG.

• Ability to work independently with initiative in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Proficient working knowledge of computer software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at a minimum.
