Research Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Stay thoroughly informed about the trial protocol, Case Report Forms, off-site manual, supporting documents, procedures, timelines, and applicable SOPs.

• Collaborate with the Illingworth research nurse project manager, research nurse manager, site staff, and Principal Investigator.

• Ensure precise documentation and electronic data transfer while maintaining subject confidentiality, GCP, and compliance with data protection regulations.

• Participate in Site Initiation Visits and other mandatory meetings.

• Organize and execute on-site and off-site subject trial visits in coordination with the RN team.

• Carry out trial procedures and assessments in accordance with the protocol and SOPs, ensuring accurate data collection.

• Administer trial medications and oversee their secure storage, transfer, and accountability.

• Process, package, and send samples while coordinating with courier services and organizations.

• Identify potentially eligible patients and assist with clinical trial recruitment and patient support.

• Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and suspected unexpected serious adverse reactions.

• Notify Illingworth and related companies of any suspected misconduct or fraud.

• Join the talent pipeline for potential upcoming opportunities rather than a current role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered nurse with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.

• Experience in research and clinical trials with GCP certification.

• Familiarity with research design and methodology is desirable.

• Preferable experience and knowledge in clinical nursing skills such as Venepuncture and ECG.

• Ability to work independently with initiative in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Proficient in computer software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at a minimum.

• Equivalent experience, skills, and/or education may also be considered.
