Research Coverage Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the clinical research initiatives throughout the Providence Health System

• Create Medicare Coverage Analyses for clinical trial protocols that involve billable services

• Conduct thorough Medicare Coverage Analyses that comply with Medicare's Clinical Trial Policy

• Utilize national medical guidelines, local practice guidelines, peer-reviewed studies, and both local and national coverage determinations

• Ensure that analyses cover all billable services outlined in clinical trial protocols

• Collaborate with the CTMS, Budget, and Billing Adjudication teams

• Maintain adherence to federal regulations and internal policies

• Report directly to the Coverage Analysis Manager

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field, or 4 additional years of relevant experience

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in developing Coverage Analysis and interpreting Medicare requirements for research

• Must reside in Alaska, Washington, Montana, Oregon, California, or be within a reasonable commuting distance of Levelland, Lubbock, or Plainview, Texas, or Hobbs, New Mexico

• Must adhere to standards of confidentiality, attendance, and punctuality
