This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
β’ Organize, oversee, carry out, and lead health services research initiatives.
β’ Address daily administrative and management tasks for current research studies.
β’ Supervise research personnel and manage databases for enrollment tracking.
β’ Act as the primary contact with the Institutional Review Board.
β’ Oversee project finances, procurement, supplies, equipment, purchase orders, invoices, and budget management.
β’ Assist in the development of grant proposals and prepare research reports, presentations, manuscripts, and other research materials.
β’ Support the Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) in recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising Research Assistants.
β’ Recruit and enroll study participants following approved methodologies.
β’ Clearly explain research projects and procedures while obtaining informed consent.
β’ Review data collection forms for accuracy and completeness, and supervise data entry processes.
β’ Monitor participant databases, generating appointment and reminder reports.
β’ Obtain and distribute compensation or reimbursement vouchers for participants.
β’ Supervise the collection of data and specimens, inform patients of results, and coordinate follow-up or referrals.
β’ Facilitate IRB approvals, documentation, and reporting requirements.
β’ Carry out administrative duties for the Data Monitoring and Safety Board, including tracking and reporting adverse events.
β’ Establish or assist with advisory boards, organize meetings, and provide requested information.
β’ A Bachelor's degree is required.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of clinical research, public health experience, or other relevant experience is necessary.
β’ Candidates with a Master's degree may be considered with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
β’ Previous experience in grant writing, IRB submissions, data management, and database development is preferred.
β’ Exceptional English communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.
β’ Bilingual or multilingual skills beyond English are advantageous.
β’ Must demonstrate cultural sensitivity and comfort when interacting with diverse social, racial, and ethnic populations.
β’ Proficiency in MS Office applications, database systems, and Internet usage is required.
β’ Experience with quantitative data analysis software such as SPSS, SAS, or Minitab is beneficial.
