Research Associate I – Patient Centered Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide scientific support for specific tasks

• Independently oversee certain project-related responsibilities

• Prepare proposals, protocols, and reports by conducting internet and literature searches

• Conduct literature reviews and summarize data from scientific publications

• Organize and coordinate site activities, which include recruitment, contracting, IRB submissions, site management, and training

• Carry out and assist with data collection and management

• Conduct individual cognitive interviews and co-facilitate focus groups

• Assemble data collection tools and perform data entry and verification

• Aid in data analysis, including the preparation of qualitative codebooks, overseeing coding processes, and reviewing quantitative data tables

• Efficiently delegate tasks and maintain communication within and outside the project team

• Regularly communicate with senior project team members, including the principal investigator

• Support project financial management

• Optionally contribute to sections of selected proposals; writing proposals is not mandatory

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s Degree in a scientific field and a minimum of one year of experience in healthcare research, or a Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field with at least two years of experience in healthcare research

• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

• Experience with Atlas.ti, Access data entry, InFormU, EndNote, PubMed/Embase, and DataFax

• Basic knowledge of research methodologies

• Practical experience in implementing research

• Ability to collaborate effectively and manage multiple tasks

• Strong problem-solving capabilities

• Keen attention to detail

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally
