Research Associate I – Patient Centered Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Offer scientific assistance for specific tasks

• Independently oversee certain project-related responsibilities

• Develop proposals, protocols, and reports utilizing internet and literature research

• Perform literature reviews and extract data from scientific publications

• Organize and facilitate site activities, which include recruitment, contracting, IRB submissions, site management, and training

• Execute and support data collection and management tasks

• Conduct individual cognitive interviews and co-facilitate focus groups

• Assemble data collection instruments and carry out data entry and review

• Aid in data analysis, including the preparation of qualitative codebooks, coordinating coding processes, and reviewing quantitative data tables

• Effectively delegate tasks and communicate within and outside the project team

• Maintain regular communication with senior project team members, including the principal investigator

• Assist with managing project finances

• While proposal writing is not mandatory, individuals may contribute to specific sections of proposals

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s Degree in a scientific discipline and at least one year of experience in healthcare research OR Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field with a minimum of two years of experience in healthcare research

• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for data entry

• Knowledge of Atlas.ti

• Experience with data entry in Access

• Familiarity with InFormU

• Proficient in EndNote

• Experience using PubMed/Embase

• Knowledge of DataFax

• Basic understanding of research methodologies and practical experience in research implementation

• Capacity to multitask effectively

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Keen attention to detail

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment

• Typical office responsibilities

• May require both domestic and international travel
