This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Assist in managing the reporting portfolio for a designated business area, which includes intake, requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Create and sustain reporting pipelines and automated workflows utilizing SQL and recognized reporting tools.
• Compose and debug SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data from various sources, including GCP environments.
• Design and improve Tableau dashboards and data visualizations that support operational decision-making.
• Utilize Alteryx or similar tools to prepare, blend, transform, and automate datasets for regular reports and dashboards.
• Implement standards for data quality, documentation, testing, access, and reporting governance.
• Suggest enhancements that boost reporting accuracy, usability, and efficiency.
• Develop an understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations and relate data trends to billing, EDI transactions, cash metrics, DSO, yield, and revenue.
• Convert business inquiries into structured analytical methodologies.
• Examine data discrepancies, identify root causes, and assess viable solutions.
• Summarize findings, implications, and proposed next steps for stakeholders.
• Oversee assigned reporting requests and project tasks within established timelines and quality standards.
• Engage in stakeholder working sessions to confirm deliverables.
• Utilize JIRA to document requirements, manage workflow, and monitor progress.
• Communicate updates, dependencies, risks, and any changes to timelines.
• Balance ongoing reporting, ad hoc requests, production support, and project responsibilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and senior analysts to address reporting, data, and workflow challenges.
• Record solutions, share project insights, and provide responsive support to business partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, information technology, engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience — Required.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or a related role — Required.

• Proficient in SQL, including joins, aggregations, data validation, and common data-transformation techniques — Required.
• Experience in creating or maintaining business reports, dashboards, and recurring analytical deliverables — Required.
• Familiarity with Tableau, including dashboard development, data visualization, calculated fields, filters, and content publishing or maintenance — Preferred.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery or other cloud-based data services — Preferred.
• Proficient in using Alteryx for data preparation and scalable, automated workflows — Preferred.
• Experience with AI productivity tools like Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms — Preferred.
• Background in healthcare analytics and/or revenue cycle operations — Preferred.
• Relevant certifications in Tableau, GCP, Alteryx, data analytics, or business intelligence — Preferred.
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
