Renewable Energy Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Evaluate RFPs, solicitations, and client requirements to determine technical and operational necessities.

• Create program-level solutions for distributed energy resources, including solar and battery storage, electric vehicle initiatives, and EV charging infrastructure.

• Formulate program delivery models that encompass staffing frameworks, operational workflows, technology specifications, incentive/rebate processing, and customer/program support mechanisms.

• Develop technical strategies that meet client demands and produce measurable outcomes.

• Identify opportunities for technical differentiation and generate innovative solution concepts.

• Collaborate with finance and program teams to provide scope and pricing inputs.

• Ensure that technical solutions are consistent with proposed budgets and implementation criteria.

• Partner with subject matter experts to validate technical strategies.

• Coordinate with the internal team to guarantee timely service delivery to clients and fulfill client expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution development, program design, engineering, energy, infrastructure, or utility-related sectors.

• Proficient understanding of solar/DER technologies.

• Familiarity with solar and battery storage systems.

• Knowledge of electric vehicle technologies.

• Awareness of EV charging infrastructure.

• Experience in designing large-scale programs or operational solutions.

• Comprehension of clean energy and sustainability principles.

• Capability to convert complex technical requirements into actionable program solutions.

• Excellent technical communication and documentation abilities.

• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Previous experience with U.S. government or utility programs is preferred.

• Familiarity with state, municipal, or utility procurement processes is preferred.

• Experience at organizations such as Arcadis, WSP, AECOM, Stantec, Black & Veatch, Tetra Tech, ICF, or Guidehouse is preferred.

• Background in supporting proposal pricing or budget formulation is preferred.

• PMP, CAPM, or CF APMP certification is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Initial engagement as a 6-month independent contractor.

• Ability to work 8 hours per day in alignment with U.S. time zones.
