This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Carry out field and workshop-related tasks as necessary.
• Deliver on-site technical guidance, hands-on support, and leadership during the installation, startup, commissioning, and maintenance of customer-owned utility and industrial facilities.
• Develop job planning documentation that outlines the scope of outages utilizing engineering instructions, drawings, and process guidelines.
• Engage with management and team members by incorporating customers' CTQ (Critical to Quality) requirements in job planning and execution.
• Supervise skilled labor while performing tasks on customer locations.
• Diagnose and conduct routine maintenance checks for power transformers, switchgear, protection relays, control systems, turbines, motors, and generators.
• Resolve electromechanical operational and maintenance issues within the Power Delivery sector.
• Undertake administrative tasks, which include drafting technical reports, ordering supplies, obtaining quotations, creating job status updates and customer reports, and completing timesheets and expense reports.
• Apply sound judgment in managing company costs and expenditures.
• Uphold a robust safety mindset to ensure that all completed work adheres to technical specifications within TGE safety standards.
• Properly qualified Electrical Fitter with demonstrated HV experience, or an Electrical Technician/Technologist or Electrician possessing proven HV experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of testing equipment and procedures.
• Proficient in computer usage.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong command of English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
• Demonstrated experience in leading a field service team.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Adaptability and flexibility.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Access.
• Basic Workplace First Aid certification.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
