This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute field and workshop-based tasks as required.
• Offer on-site technical guidance, hands-on service, and leadership during the installation, startup, commissioning, and maintenance of customer-owned utility and industrial facilities.
• Develop job planning documents that outline outage scope utilizing engineering instructions, drawings, and process instructions.
• Engage with management and colleagues, incorporating customers' Critical to Quality needs in job planning and execution.
• Supervise skilled labor performing tasks at customer locations.
• Diagnose and conduct routine maintenance checks for power transformers, switchgear, protection relays, control systems, turbines, motors, and generators.
• Address electromechanical operations and maintenance issues within the Power Delivery sector.
• Carry out administrative responsibilities.
• Compile technical reports, order materials, obtain quotations, prepare job status updates and customer reports, and complete timesheets and expense forms.
• Manage company costs and expenditures effectively.
• Uphold safety standards in accordance with TGE technical requirements.
• Qualified Electrical Fitter with demonstrated HV experience, or Electrical Technician/Technologist, or Electrician with proven HV experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of test equipment and testing methodologies.
• Proficient in computer usage.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
• Demonstrated experience in leading a field service team.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Flexibility in work assignments.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Access.
• Basic Workplace First Aid certification.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, when applicable.
