This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Timely and efficiently process medical ROI requests.
β’ Utilize Verisma software applications for request processing.
β’ Assist in resolving HIPAA-related release issues.
β’ Organize records and documents to facilitate the ROI process.
β’ Interpret and review medical records, forms, and authorizations.
β’ Deliver customer service in person, via phone, and through email, according to location requirements.
β’ Maintain a professional interaction with customers and colleagues.
β’ Utilize Verisma reference materials to ensure compliance and confidentiality.
β’ Attend mandatory training sessions.
β’ Uphold and promote Verisma's company values.
β’ Execute related duties to enhance departmental and company operations.
β’ High School Diploma or equivalent.
β’ Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical records.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in clerical or office work.
β’ Proficient in using general office equipment, such as desktop computers and scanners.
β’ Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
β’ Ability to work independently.
β’ Strong attention to detail.
β’ Some college education is preferred.
β’ RHIT certification is preferred.
β’ Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
β’ Understanding of HIPAA and state regulations concerning the release of Protected Health Information is preferred.
