Rehabilitation Consultant – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Identify new opportunities for returning to work by leveraging networks and industry expertise in occupational rehabilitation.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with employers seeking support for return-to-work initiatives.

• Oversee cases of injured workers who need physical and/or psychological assistance to re-enter the workforce.

• Build connections with health professionals and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

• Conduct assessments including functional capacity evaluations, worksite evaluations, ergonomic assessments, or activities of daily living assessments.

• Collaborate with injured employees, employers, medical specialists, and allied health professionals.

• Create, execute, and oversee rehabilitation plans.

• Provide support to clients from the Australian Defence Force and Veteran community.

• Assist clients in returning to their previous roles or securing new employment opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current unrestricted registration or membership, or eligibility for registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA).

• Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation.

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Nursing.

• Strong clinical reasoning skills.

• Ability to engage effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

• Proven capability to work independently.

• A genuine passion for assisting individuals in their rehabilitation journeys.
