Rehabilitation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Utilize clinical judgment to assist individuals with physical and/or psychological injuries related to the workplace.

• Deliver comprehensive care within a collaborative multidisciplinary team from rehabilitation to recovery.

• Perform functional capacity evaluations, as well as assessments related to worksite ergonomics and activities of daily living.

• Partner with injured workers, employers, medical experts, and allied health practitioners.

• Create, execute, and oversee rehabilitation plans.

• Assist clients who have sustained injuries from motor vehicle accidents or workplace incidents.

• Provide support for clients from the Australian Defence Force and veterans.

• Aid clients in returning to their previous employment or securing new job opportunities.

• Work independently and organize your schedule to promote a healthy work-life balance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid unrestricted registration or membership with the appropriate industry body (AHPRA, ESSA), or eligibility for such registration/membership.

• Higher education qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Nursing.

• Excellent clinical reasoning skills.

• Capacity to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Dedication to assisting individuals in their rehabilitation journey.

• Proven ability to work independently.

• Capability to serve clients throughout the Orange–Bathurst region.
