This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Oversee issues pertaining to Globalstar’s operations that emerge in Washington, D.C.

• Direct and coordinate advocacy groups along with external consultants.

• Facilitate and engage in proceedings involving outside counsel.

• Aid in the preparation of filings and manage regulatory developments both in the United States and internationally as necessary.

• Coordinate spectrum usage and orbital slot filings with international satellite operators within North America.

• Ensure adherence to export control regulations (ITAR/EAR) for satellite technology and components across North America, Europe, and Asia.

• Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies in North America and respond to requests for information.

• Serve as a secondary liaison for regulatory agencies throughout Europe and Asia.

• Support business growth by evaluating the regulatory feasibility of new services or market expansion.

• Maintain and update records of licenses, authorizations, and regulatory deadlines.

• Prepare regulatory briefings and presentations for executive leadership.

• Attend regulatory meetings and engage directly with regulatory authorities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly and concisely to all departments and management levels.

• Strong organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to meet multiple deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

• Proficient in time management and task prioritization.

• Ability to conduct oneself with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Familiarity with NetSuite.

• Knowledge of FCC regulations, ITU radio rules, and spectrum management principles.

• Understanding of satellite communications technology and RF engineering concepts.

• Willingness and ability to travel as required.

• Willingness and ability to work beyond regular hours when necessary.

• Capability to sit at a desk for extended periods while working on a computer (4 to 8 hours).

• Ability to operate the necessary equipment for the position.

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
