Regulatory Affairs Expert – Licensing Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement regulatory strategies.

• Determine optimal markets within the region for operations.

• Engage in discussions with regulatory agencies.

• Collaborate with regulatory authorities, industry organizations, and lawmakers.

• Advocate for policies that foster innovation, safety, and compliance.

• Analyze local regulatory proposals.

• Offer guidance to the business regarding regulatory risks and opportunities.

• Lead initiatives aimed at influencing regulatory frameworks.

• Monitor regulatory updates to ensure proactive compliance.

• Assist in securing necessary license approvals in targeted markets.

• Work closely with legal, compliance, finance, project managers, and broader business teams.

• Interpret Thailand's regulatory requirements into clear, actionable strategic recommendations.

• Manage relationships and communications with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Implement licensing initiatives across various global regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of regulatory experience in the financial services or crypto-asset sector.

• Capability to strategically and operationally apply knowledge of key regulatory frameworks in Thailand.

• Ability to provide guidance in resolving intricate regulatory challenges.

• Proficiency in conducting regulatory analysis.

• Experience in preparing and managing interactions with regulatory authorities, including submissions for regulatory consultations.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Background in public speaking and representing organizations in regulatory discussions.

• Strong team-oriented mindset with a willingness to engage with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Proactive professional who works well both collaboratively and independently.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• A university degree.
