Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver personalized Medical Nutrition Therapy focused on weight management, reducing cardiometabolic risks, and addressing lifestyle-related health issues.

• Perform thorough nutrition evaluations and create tailored nutrition prescriptions, interventions, and care plans.

• Provide both individual and group nutrition education to foster sustainable behavioral changes and encourage active participation from patients.

• Assist patients enrolled in structured weight management programs, including those utilizing GLP-1 and other weight management medications.

• Collaborate effectively with primary care providers, RN care managers, health coaches, behavioral health clinicians, and other members of the care team.

• Record nutrition assessments, interventions, patient objectives, education, and follow-up activities in the electronic health record.

• Communicate with patients through telephone calls, video conferencing, and portal-based interactions.

• Contribute clinical nutrition knowledge towards program development and quality improvement initiatives.

• Create and revise patient education materials and resources for providers.

• Engage in team activities and onboarding processes.

• Present nutrition-related information as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Registered Dietitian.

• Possess a working knowledge and increasing experience to recognize patterns and determine when senior consultation is necessary.

• Capable of delivering Medical Nutrition Therapy utilizing evidence-based nutritional practices.

• Skilled in conducting comprehensive nutrition evaluations and formulating individualized nutrition prescriptions, interventions, and care plans.

• Experience or capability to provide individual and group nutrition education employing motivational interviewing, empathetic listening, and evidence-based counseling techniques.

• Proficient in supporting patients using GLP-1 and other weight management medications.

• Able to collaborate effectively with primary care providers, RN care managers, health coaches, behavioral health clinicians, and other care team members.

• Competent in accurately and promptly documenting within the electronic health record.

• Skilled in engaging patients through telephone, video, and portal-based communication.
