This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with TXC/OPO decision-makers to deliver clinical education on LBE’s service model, EVLP devices, and their value proposition.
• Train and onboard healthcare professionals regarding LBE’s service model and EVLP devices.
• Carry out timely post-EVLP procedure communications to debrief and pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Organize and conduct regular visits to TXCs/OPOs to nurture relationships, provide support, and identify process enhancements.
• Assess partner needs and create solutions, including workflows and communication-tool content.
• Cultivate expertise on the US lung transplant landscape and LBE services to aid in strategic decision-making.
• Act as a liaison between TXCs and EVLP Specialists for clinical and technical inquiries.
• Keep comprehensive client and lifecycle information updated in the CRM.
• Build and sustain relationships with current and prospective thought leaders.
• Represent the organization at transplant conferences, meetings, and symposia, and relay key insights internally.
• Engage in the execution of contracts and agreements with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in referral and case debriefs, offering insights and recognizing workflow enhancements.
• Comply with internal processes and regulatory/compliance standards.
• Execute marketing strategies and communicate initiatives to TXCs/OPOs.
• Assist in the development of case studies, abstracts, and scientific submissions.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or clinical field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 5 years of experience as an organ procurement coordinator, thoracic transplant coordinator, or a thoracic transplant medical science liaison/scientist.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with TXCs and/or OPOs.
• Demonstrated experience in training physicians in the transplant or cardiothoracic field.
• Proficient in OPO processes.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.
• Effective verbal presentation skills.
• Proven ability to be self-directed and exhibit strong organizational and planning capabilities.
• Knowledge of UNOS policies and procedures related to lung allocation, procurement, donor management, and data reporting.
• Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator (CPTC) or Certified Transplant Preservationist (CTP) preferred.
• Clinical and scientific knowledge in thoracic surgery and/or thoracic transplant procedures preferred.
• Familiarity with transplant reimbursement processes and policies preferred.
• Previous experience with EVLP devices preferred.
• Prior experience with Veeva as a CRM or PRB tool preferred.
• Ability to forecast, maintain a robust CRM, and analyze TXC data and dashboards preferred.
