This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage relationships with customers and distributors while driving business outcomes for a designated portfolio of regional and independent grocery, natural, and specialty accounts.
• Create and implement account-specific strategies to enhance distribution, merchandising, shelf visibility, SKU velocities, and product trials.
• Increase household penetration, top-line sales, and overall net profit.
• Cultivate relationships with buyers and distributors, leading customer meetings, line reviews, and collaborative business planning.
• Recognize emerging opportunities, customer trends, and competitive movements, translating insights into actionable opportunities, risks, and strategies.
• Achieve volume, net revenue, profitability, and trade-spend targets.
• Negotiate pricing, product assortment, promotions, and trade investments in collaboration with Sales Strategy.
• Maintain updated forecasts, promotional calendars, customer plans, and performance reports; proactively address any gaps.
• Utilize customer, syndicated, and internal data to formulate compelling selling narratives and enhance account-level decision-making.
• Establish operational rhythms for priorities, pipelines, forecasting, performance, and developmental discussions.
• Mentor talent and strengthen the team's capabilities.
• Collaborate with Sales Strategy, Category Leadership, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
• Understand customer supply chains and discover joint value-creation opportunities.
• Represent Gimme at customer meetings, trade exhibitions, distributor events, and industry functions.
• Provide leadership with succinct, fact-based updates regarding performance, forecasts, decisions, and necessary support.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 5 years of progressive CPG sales experience, including direct accountability for grocery, natural, specialty, or independent retail accounts.
• Proven track record of increasing revenue, distribution, and account profitability within an assigned portfolio.
• Experience in managing or developing sales professionals, or a demonstrated readiness to take on formal leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of trade promotion management, forecasting, and customer P&L fundamentals.
• Familiarity with syndicated data platforms such as Circana/IRI or Nielsen.
• Proficiency with standard CRM, planning, and trade-management tools, including Promomash and Vividly.
• Strong leadership in regional and independent grocery/natural accounts.
• Commercial insight across revenue, margin, pricing, promotions, and trade investments.
• Skills in customer planning, negotiation, forecasting, and execution discipline.
• Ability to tell data-informed stories using syndicated, customer, and internal performance data.
• Capabilities in people leadership, coaching, and talent development.
• Excellent communication and effective cross-functional influencing skills.
• High level of ownership, adaptability, and sound judgment in a growing organization.
