This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Oversee the activities of the regional sales team in accordance with the company's business strategy and values.
• Direct and lead the efforts and performance of the regional sales team to enhance profitability, increase market share, and boost sales volume.
• Cultivate a high-performing team through coaching, development, performance management, field visits, and business evaluations.
• Guide the regional sales team in reaching sales targets.
• Support strategic initiatives for future growth and profitability.
• Manage team expenses in alignment with company policies.
• Oversee annual sales quotas for territory sales team members to support the compensation structure.
• Organize, prepare, and facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews that cover quota and budget performance, pipeline health, win/loss trends, key account trends, and action plans.
• Document and monitor QBR commitments and ensure action items are completed.
• Gather market needs information and provide ongoing input for product enhancements.
• Manage current markets and key accounts while ensuring market penetration.
• Monitor competitor offerings and execute suitable regional sales strategies.
• Provide insightful feedback to the regional team and internal partners for revenue growth and process enhancements.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings, field visits, and joint sales calls to improve selling techniques, pipeline management, and account strategies.
• Develop and uphold individual development plans for team members.
• Track quota achievement, pipeline coverage, conversion rates, and core selling activities.
• Address performance deficiencies through coaching, documentation, measurable improvement goals, and formal Performance Improvement Plans.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on performance management and progressive corrective actions.
• Make data-driven talent decisions regarding recognition, advancement, and accountability.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company values, ethical standards, safety, quality, and other organizational requirements.
• Travel regularly across the region to meet with customers and provide coaching and mentorship to the sales team.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in Complex Rehab Sales Management.
• Proven track record in coaching and developing sales professionals while managing team performance, including formal performance improvement initiatives.
• Strong business insight and acumen.
• Proficient in negotiation and presentation skills.
• Analytical abilities to solve complex issues and make informed decisions.
• Effective communication skills in a collaborative problem-solving environment.
• Established ability to coach, develop, and manage sales team performance, including addressing underperformance in a constructive and decisive manner.
• Capability to lift and handle wheelchairs and assist with the setup of trade shows and exhibition booths.
• Ability to observe and recognize details.
• Willingness to work extended hours as required, including weekends.
• Frequent travel within the Southern region, potentially requiring 2–3 or more overnight hotel stays per week, depending on the size of the territory.
• Ability to fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
