This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, trade shows, and associations.
• Recognize key regional accounts and formulate action plans to enhance Loma's visibility and market penetration.
• Engage with customers and prospects to comprehend their needs and align them with Loma's offerings.
• Develop accounts, oversee activities, and successfully close opportunities.
• Maintain customer accounts, activities, status updates, and forecasts in Loma’s CRM system.
• Acquire expertise in Loma and Lock product applications and showcase PC-based product simulations.
• Carry out consultative sales activities that highlight Loma’s value differentiators.
• Collect and share competitive insights, as well as secure customer referrals, testimonials, and leads.
• Conduct continuous research on industry trends and key accounts.
• Operate autonomously and conduct business in a professional manner.
• Participate in trade shows, including the setup and dismantling processes.
• Strategize and achieve annual regional growth targets for Loma's products and services.
• Implement Loma toolbox initiatives and adhere to the 80/20 principles within the region.
• Travel beyond the region for trade shows and visits to Loma facilities, especially in Carol Stream, Illinois, for training and meetings.
• Submit a monthly sales report to the Sales Manager.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the supervisor related to the position.
• High school diploma is mandatory; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Market Development, Account Management, or a similar field.
• Experience in industrial capital sales is preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and computer skills.
• Proven success in customer-facing sales scenarios.
• Capability to read and understand safety regulations, operational and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Proficient in drafting routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to effectively communicate in front of customer or employee groups.
• Competence in calculating discounts, commissions, percentages, and other numerical data.
• Skill in defining problems, analyzing data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
• Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
• Experience in a capital equipment manufacturing organization is desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CRM, and email applications.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems, instrumentation, conveyors, belt-speed relationships, product handling, and US/metric measurement conversions.
• Willingness to learn Loma and Lock product applications and operational fundamentals.
