
Regional Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Achieve or surpass the company's sales targets within the Pittsburgh area and its southern suburbs.
• Develop and uphold account and territory plans to reach sales objectives for the designated territory.
• Build and nurture customer-focused relationships with physicians and hospital stakeholders.
• Continuously enhance results orientation, manage product approval processes, advance territory development, and deepen clinical knowledge.
• Share practices and innovative suggestions with team members.
• Utilize computer-based customer/account management systems for tracking contacts, activities, and follow-ups.
• Prepare timely activity reports and present monthly or quarterly business reviews.
• Support trade show exhibits and participate in periodic company-sponsored sales meetings.
• Collaborate with surgeons to enhance visibility through SPR presentations at Grand Rounds, journal club meetings, and poster presentations.
• Identify cases for case studies, white papers, and additions to the video library.
• Contribute to project team activities.
• Coordinate and facilitate the hospital product approval processes.
• Identify additional target hospitals and physicians within the territory.
• Assist in training surgeons and hospital staff.
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in orthopedic or medical device sales.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a related field is preferred.
• Capability to “concept” sell innovative products.
• Proven success in a start-up environment and/or launching new products.
• Proficient in customer and account profiling.
• Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding sales goals and leading team "leader boards."
• Strong professional references that reflect the respect of former supervisors and tier-one customers.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with high initiative and self-directed orientation.
• Essential customer service skills and experience.
• Strong self-starter and effective team player with consensus-building abilities.
• Capacity to evaluate communication and advertising materials and make informed recommendations.
• Experience in developing and implementing tools for obtaining accurate feedback from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to effectively communicate customer requirements within the company.
• Skill in anticipating the timing and need for new promotional materials.
• Proficiency in working effectively via phone and email for company management.
• Comfortable in a start-up culture and eager to grow into a larger, more structured organization.
• Capability to work effectively in a virtual setting, whether at home or in a central office.
• Willingness to travel extensively during the day, with occasional overnight and weekend travel.
• Must fulfill RepTrax and similar third-party accreditation requirements to ensure account access.
