This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +1 more state.
• Achieve or surpass the sales targets set by the company, spanning from Bangor, ME to Manchester, NH.
• Develop and uphold account and territory strategies to meet sales goals within the designated area.
• Cultivate a customer-focused environment by building relationships with physicians and hospital stakeholders.
• Strive for ongoing improvement in results orientation, product approval processes, territory growth, and clinical expertise.
• Offer practices and innovative suggestions to fellow team members.
• Utilize computer-based customer and account management systems for tracking contacts, activities, and follow-ups.
• Prepare timely activity reports and provide monthly/quarterly business reviews as needed.
• Support trade show exhibits and participate in periodic company-sponsored sales events.
• Collaborate with surgeons to enhance visibility through SPR presentations at Grand Rounds, journal clubs, and poster displays.
• Aid in identifying cases for case studies, white papers, and additions to the video library.
• Participate in assigned project team activities.
• Organize and manage hospital product approval procedures.
• Identify additional target hospitals and physicians within the assigned territory.
• Assist in training surgeons and hospital personnel.
• Operate in a small office setting, managing documentation and engaging directly with team members.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in orthopedic or medical device sales.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a related field is preferred.
• Capability to "concept" sell innovative products.
• Proven success in a start-up environment or in launching new products.
• Proficiency in customer and account profiling.
• History of consistently surpassing sales goals and leading team "leader boards."
• Strong professional references that reflect respect from former supervisors and tier one clients.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, high initiative, and a self-directed approach.
• Critical customer service skills and experience.
• Strong self-starter and effective team collaborator with consensus-building abilities.
• Aptitude for evaluating communication and advertising materials and making suitable recommendations.
• Experience in developing and implementing tools to gather accurate feedback on business needs and enhancements.
• Ability to effectively convey customer requirements within the company.
• Anticipation of the timing and necessity for new promotional materials.
• Proficient in working effectively via phone and email for company management.
• Comfortable in a start-up environment with a willingness to adapt to a larger, more formal organization.
• Capability to work efficiently in a virtual setting, whether at home or in a centrally located office.
• Willingness to travel extensively during the day, including occasional overnight and weekend trips.
• Must stay updated on RepTrax and similar third-party accreditation requirements to maintain full access to target accounts.
