This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Achieve or surpass the sales objectives set by the company in the San Francisco Bay Area and central coast region.
• Develop and uphold account and territory strategies to meet sales targets.
• Cultivate and maintain a customer-focused culture.
• Establish connections with physicians and other key hospital stakeholders.
• Continuously enhance results orientation, product approval management, territory expansion, and clinical expertise.
• Share practices and innovative ideas with team members.
• Utilize computer-based systems for customer and account management to monitor interactions, activities, and follow-ups.
• Submit timely activity reports along with monthly and quarterly business evaluations.
• Support trade show displays and participate in periodic company-sponsored sales meetings.
• Collaborate with surgeons to enhance visibility through SPR presentations at Grand Rounds, journal clubs, and poster sessions.
• Identify cases suitable for case studies, white papers, and additions to the video library.
• Participate in assigned project team activities.
• Coordinate and facilitate the hospital product approval processes.
• Identify additional target hospitals and physicians in the designated territory.
• Assist in training surgeons and hospital personnel.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in orthopedic or medical device sales.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in a related field is preferred.
• Proven ability to “concept” sell innovative products.
• Demonstrated success in a start-up environment and/or in launching new products.
• Proficient in customer and account profiling.
• A history of consistently exceeding sales goals and leading team performance metrics.
• Strong professional references that reflect respect from former supervisors and key customers.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with high initiative and self-direction.
• Essential customer service experience and skills.
• Strong commitment to meeting customer needs efficiently and accurately while balancing organizational priorities.
• A proactive self-starter and effective collaborator with skills in building consensus.
• Capability to assess communication and advertising materials, providing constructive recommendations.
• Experience in creating and implementing tools to gather accurate feedback from both internal and external parties.
• Proficient in communicating customer needs effectively within the organization.
• Ability to anticipate the timing and necessity for new promotional resources.
• Competent in working effectively via phone and email.
• Comfortable in a start-up setting, with a willingness to adapt to a more structured organization.
• Capacity to work efficiently in a virtual environment, whether at home or in a centrally located office.
• Flexibility to work varied hours based on project and customer demands.
• Willingness to undertake significant daytime travel, with occasional overnight and weekend trips.
• Must stay updated on all RepTrax and similar third-party accreditation requirements to maintain full access to target accounts.
