This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.
• Lead independent direct store delivery distributors to enhance good2grow sales within the designated region.
• Propel distributor network performance and growth expectations across local chains, independents, and nontraditional channels.
• Guide and develop direct reports within the assigned territory when applicable.
• Implement business strategies to achieve assigned targets and objectives through Systematic Distributor Management.
• Engage all levels of the DSD network, including brand managers, sales leaders, and distributor ownership.
• Execute and uphold Annual Distributor Business Planning and Fiscal Budgeting with assigned distributors.
• Oversee territory P&L and meet volume and market share goals.
• Facilitate monthly and quarterly joint business alignment meetings to review objectives, KPIs, and scorecards.
• Ensure accurate and prompt sales forecasting for the assigned geography and customers.
• Take part in distributor training, sales meeting presentations, and ride-alongs.
• Develop larger chains, local chains, and the independent market.
• Explore new and void accounts using good2grow data, analytics, and distributor resources.
• Enhance good2grow store presence through shelving and multiple points of interruption.
• Increase the variety of good2grow SKUs available in the market.
• Directly engage with specified regional chain groups and manage third-party broker resources.
• Utilize the VIP Karma app to track, audit, follow up, and execute store visits.
• Communicate with distributor influencers regarding promotional execution, distribution prospects, reporting, and store-level objectives.
• Complete office-day administrative tasks, recaps, distributor follow-ups, and weekly communications.
• Manage chargebacks, deductions, unsalable products, and logistics in line with company standards.
• Supervise summer interns or third-party resources when applicable.
• Submit expenses and maintain POS inventory, scorecard initiatives, and weekly planner updates.
• Direct and manage employee activities while fostering a vibrant work environment.
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff through performance evaluations and individual development plans.
• Candidates must reside in Boston to be eligible for this position.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in sales, merchandising, direct store delivery, or supplier sales.
• Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Skilled in presenting to groups.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time.
• Proactive with a strong sense of urgency.
