This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota, +3 more states.
• Meet established sales quotas, revenue targets, and performance metrics.
• Create and implement strategic business plans for essential distributor accounts.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with distributors, end users, and key decision-makers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to enhance market share.
• Act as the main point of contact and trusted advisor for regional clients.
• Provide product demonstrations, presentations, and sales training sessions.
• Keep precise customer records, sales activities, and opportunities in the CRM system.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of MCR Safety's PPE product offerings.
• Review sales reports, customer information, and market trends to uncover growth potential.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to assist customers and implement sales strategies.
• Engage in corporate meetings, training programs, and special initiatives.
• Travel around 60% of the time, typically four days a week, to visit distributors and end users.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a relevant field is preferred.
• At least four years of successful experience in outside sales is required.
• Sales experience in the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), industrial safety, manufacturing, or industrial distribution sectors is essential.
• Proficiency in using SAP ERP and Microsoft Dynamics CRM is necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to establish, manage, and expand distributor and customer relationships.
• Strong skills in negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities while working autonomously in a remote setting.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory, including overnight stays.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Candidates must reside within the designated territory.
