This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
• Collaborate with the sales team to assess opportunities, develop solution strategies, and ensure technical capabilities align with customer business objectives
• Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and security evaluations to identify operational and architectural needs
• Create and present secure architecture designs that incorporate networking, cloud, and SecOps elements
• Conduct presentations and demonstrations for technical stakeholders and executive leaders
• Act as the lead technical authority throughout the sales process for designated accounts
• Provide guidance on Zero Trust, SASE, cloud security, and SecOps modernization initiatives
• Establish and nurture trusted partnerships with C-level executives and senior technical leaders
• Convert technical ideas into business benefits for discussions with executives
• Assist with deployment handovers, collaborating with professional services, technical support, and customer success teams
• Offer strategic roadmap direction, operational assessments, and regular check-ins
• Remain a trusted advisor to enterprise leadership, aligning changing requirements with solution offerings
• 3–5 years of experience in pre-sales or sales engineering roles within diverse cybersecurity, networking, or cloud settings
• Profound knowledge of networking concepts, including Firewall, Network Segmentation, LAN/WAN, Wireless, routing, switching, VPNs, and TCP/IP
• Familiarity with essential security protocols, such as IPSec, TLS/SSL, PKI, SAML, OAuth, and RADIUS
• Capability to design solutions that include Endpoint Security (EDR, DLP)
• Ability to craft solutions involving SecOps modernization (SIEM, SOAR, XDR)
• Understanding of Zero Trust and SASE frameworks
• Insight into cloud and hybrid security models, encompassing IaaS, SaaS, and containerized applications
• Knowledge of identity and access management practices, including MFA, SSO, and PAM
• Outstanding presentation, communication, and storytelling abilities
• Demonstrated success in leading architectural dialogues and aligning technical solutions with business goals of enterprises
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, NSE, CCNP Security, or AWS Security Specialty are desirable
• Experience in consulting or advisory capacities for medium-sized enterprise clients is preferred
• Knowledge of frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 is a plus
