Regional Sales Director – Retirement Plan Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Represent Mutual of America Financial Group in a sales and marketing role to clients and prospects within a designated territory.

• Seek out new group takeover plans and promote additional products.

• Develop and oversee a substantial territory, identifying new business opportunities.

• Engage with Plan Sponsors of 401k and 403b retirement plans through cold calling, networking, and referrals.

• Build relationships with new prospects, cross-sell solutions, and achieve or surpass goals by successfully closing deals.

• Participate in client review meetings with the Customer Relationship Manager for the top five to ten clients in the territory.

• Request client introductions and act as a reference for sales opportunities.

• Report to the Regional Vice President and collaborate with a dedicated sales team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of outside business-to-business sales experience with a proven track record in selling, presenting, prospecting, and territory management.

• Familiarity with retirement products, specifically 401k and 403b plans.

• Motivated to make outbound cold calls to potential clients.

• Proven ability in cold calling sales.

• Strong communication skills.

• A strategic thinker capable of working independently.

• Excellent relationship management and building skills.

• Active FINRA Series 6, 63, and SIE licenses.

• A valid driver's license is mandatory.

• Must reside in Southern NJ, Pennsylvania, Maryland, or DC.
