
Regional Sales Director – Central Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Oversee all commercial functions within the designated Central U.S. region.
• Take ownership of regional revenue, margins, expenses, market share, product performance, customer segmentation, and sales metrics.
• Create and implement strategies to reach sales, revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
• Track sales activities, pipeline, forecasts, performance trends, risks, opportunities, and necessary corrective actions.
• Examine market and customer trends while managing major accounts, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
• Engage in annual sales planning and implement regional goals.
• Discover growth opportunities and execute regional strategies.
• Utilize Salesforce and reporting tools to enhance data integrity, forecasting, and business management.
• Optimize sales processes, operational efficiency, resource utilization, and territory management.
• Review sales and operating reports, oversee budgets and expenses, and enact corrective measures.
• Focus on high-value opportunities, assist in cash collection efforts, and monitor essential financial metrics.
• Lead, coach, develop, recruit, onboard, assess, and manage a high-achieving sales team.
• Conduct field coaching and set performance expectations.
• Promote accountability, collaboration, engagement, professionalism, and a customer-centric approach.
• Collaborate with internal teams to foster growth, enhance customer outcomes, and support business goals.
• Spearhead company initiatives, advocate for resources, and ensure regional execution aligns with company strategy.
• Represent customer and patient interests in business decisions.
• Maintain consistent customer and field engagement throughout the region.
• Travel within the region for sales execution, coaching, customer relations, and business meetings.
• Lead regional and annual sales meetings, encompassing planning, execution, and follow-up.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Health Science or Business Management.
• A minimum of 5+ years of commission-based sales experience and at least 2+ years in a leadership role within a commission-based sales team.
• Demonstrated success in leading multi-territory sales teams and achieving revenue growth objectives.
• Strong business acumen with experience in managing P&L performance, forecasting, budgeting, and sales analytics.
• Proven ability to cultivate high-performing teams through coaching, accountability, and talent development.
• Advanced proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
• Excellent strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence results in a matrixed environment.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the region and participate in quarterly corporate meetings.
