This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and inspire a dynamic team of Strategic Account Managers and Virology Care Specialists.
• Formulate and implement regional business strategies, establishing a vision for regional success.
• Responsibly promote Invivyd products to targeted healthcare professionals and academic institutions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), laws, guidelines, and industry standards.
• Foster a high-performance coaching culture and nurture team talent.
• Execute sales strategies to meet and surpass revenue and growth targets.
• Engage with key accounts, healthcare providers, and academic institutions to broaden and maintain business relationships.
• Provide field coaching to team members, offering feedback, skill development, and guidance.
• Advocate for growth and career development through training and continuous learning opportunities.
• Serve as a local liaison between Sales and corporate functions.
• Oversee financial and field-staff resources as well as manage area expense budgets.
• Drive demand while aligning with long-term sales and profit goals.
• Enhance team performance through team building, coaching, business planning, training, motivation, and management.
• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from an accredited college or university; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in the biopharma, medical device, or healthcare industry.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing high-performing teams in the life sciences sector.
• Must possess a current, valid state driver’s license and pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) background check.
• Diverse experience and exposure to reimbursement, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacies, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and federal channels.
• Willingness to be in the field for 4 full days each week; ability to travel by car and airplane as needed.
• Strong understanding and experience adhering to laws, regulations, and industry codes governing appropriate interactions with healthcare professionals and organizations.
• A proven track record in successfully leading a pharmaceutical sales team is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of the healthcare landscape and payer dynamics.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and recruitment capabilities.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities.
• Capacity to adapt to changing market conditions.
• Ability to drive ongoing improvement.
• Cultivates an environment of engagement and ethical conduct.
• Annual short-term incentive (e.g., bonus or sales incentive).
• Annual long-term incentive (e.g., equity).
