
Regional Sales Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
• Lead and develop the regional field sales team.
• Establish goals and objectives for regional support roles.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers to identify sales requirements and maintain awareness of market trends and competitive activities.
• Engage with key customers and buying groups to ensure satisfaction while uncovering future opportunities.
• Create processes for collecting, tracking, and sharing information on competitive activities.
• Address daily customer complaints and service-related issues.
• Formulate annual and monthly sales budgets.
• Oversee the performance of the field sales team and proactively respond to risks and opportunities.
• Manage assigned key vendor budgets and ensure move-out goals are met.
• Collaborate with leadership to define sales and marketing initiatives and priorities.
• Assess training needs for the field sales team and coordinate training with Learning and Development.
• Partner with Territory Managers on strategic solutions, house brands, category management, and vendor consolidation strategies.
• A bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce, pharmacy, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in field sales, territory management, or a related area is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in a management role is required.
• Exceptional presentation capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Capacity to encourage innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Ability to assess effectiveness using competitive and benchmark data.
• Strong knowledge of customers, markets, and competitors.
• Proficiency in delivering quality service and resolving issues.
• Skill in building and maintaining relationships.
• Systematic approach to sales, including problem-solving, cross-selling, account targeting, and prospecting.
• Strong verbal presentation skills.
• Ability to form and lead effective teams.
