This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Oversee CRM sales for Abbott products and services within a designated region.
• Identify and assess market opportunities along with sales potential.
• Set and achieve sales and clinical goals.
• Lead and mentor territory managers and clinical specialists.
• Complete authorization training to facilitate CRM procedures and deliver clinical coaching.
• Assist in contract negotiations, customer interactions, performance management, and the development of clinical competencies.
• Define regional sales strategy and support the overall sales plan for the region.
• Foster a safe, positive, diverse, entrepreneurial, and supportive team culture.
• Conduct team calls, discovery workshops, regional meetings, and one-on-one discussions.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop direct reports.
• Aid in planning customer and account engagement.
• Prepare regional sales forecasts, assess market potential, and estimate sales expenses.
• Enhance forecasting accuracy and ensure sales accountability.
• Travel with the team to meet customers and support clinical competencies and sales growth.
• Develop cross-functional partnerships with marketing, training, enterprise accounts, and clinical trial teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with case support, proctoring planning, and conflict resolution.
• Manage the annual regional budget and ensure compliance.
• Approve expense reports for direct reports and address any compliance issues.
• Complete vendor credentialing for access to hospitals.
• Monitor developments in the industry, product, market, regulatory landscape, and field operations.
• Tackle complex challenges and create innovative solutions.
• Mentor staff and assist with significant area projects or operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in Tachycardia/Bradycardia product areas or a similar discipline.
• Experience in CRM product sales is preferred.
• Proven track record of sales and clinical performance in the cardiology/cardiovascular sector.
• Ability to lead initiatives and workstreams utilizing critical thinking skills.
• Capability to direct and evaluate the clinical and sales objectives, quality, outcomes, and performance measures of direct reports.
• Competence to perform in a quality system environment.
• Solutions-focused with a fact-based approach to problem solving.
• Confirmation of meeting vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Prior experience in commercial and clinical trials in cardiology/cardiovascular is preferred.
• Documented successful leadership of sales and clinical teams is preferred.
• Experience with Abbott cardiovascular products will be given higher consideration.
