Regional Quality Improvement Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver clinical quality and safety assurance and support across Priory facilities in the South West of England and Wales.

• Offer quality and safety leadership across a range of Priory services.

• Ensure assurance, challenge, and support regarding clinical quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate with sites on improvement plans, audits, inspections, and regulatory obligations.

• Evaluate quality, safety, incidents, and patient experience data to identify trends and promote learning.

• Lead and assist with investigations, reviews, and safeguarding efforts as necessary.

• Provide coaching, guidance, and training to enhance practices and implement standards.

• Foster relationships with clinical and operational leaders.

• Disseminate learning and best practices throughout the region.

• Participate in broader quality improvement initiatives.

• Travel frequently to hospitals and services across the region.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a relevant clinical or professional qualification, along with substantial post-registration experience in a clinical or healthcare environment.

• Have senior-level experience in quality improvement, clinical governance, or service leadership.

• Demonstrate a solid understanding of regulatory standards, including CQC, MHA, MCA, and DoLS, as well as knowledge of applicable Welsh requirements.

• Maintain a proven track record of enhancing quality, safety, and clinical outcomes.

• Experience in leading change, projects, and quality initiatives across complex services.

• Exhibit strong leadership, coaching, and influencing skills, with the capability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment.

• Display confidence in working with data, utilizing insights to identify risks, assess outcomes, and drive improvement.

• Have safeguarding experience, ideally with a background as a Safeguarding Lead.

• Possess excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

• Must reside within the South West of England and Wales region.

• A full UK driving license is required.

• Willingness to travel frequently to hospitals and services, including 2–3 nights per week and occasional overnight stays.
