This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies effectively.
• Lead and execute best practices in procurement, including P2P processes and contract compliance.
• Assist with reporting tasks, encompassing estimates, budgets, and business cases.
• Aid in the execution of new product developments.
• Engage in daily operations, addressing quality claims and ensuring supplier capacities.
• Provide mentorship to the procurement team through one-on-one meetings and development discussions.
• Serve as a strategic partner for the local management team.
• Oversee procurement operations at a sub-regional level.
• Manage key stakeholder relationships in the respective countries.
• Lead and assist in strategic sourcing and transformation initiatives.
• Align with and achieve savings objectives.
• Support the new product development process.
• Handle human resources and team development within the sub-region.
• Lead and/or directly manage Supplier Relationship Management activities.
• Negotiate major contracts and ensure contract utilization.
• Manage the budget for the countries under your jurisdiction.
• Oversee the compliance agenda.
• Propel e-procurement initiatives and promote the use of standard e-tools.
• Possess a strategic and analytical mindset.
• Demonstrate strong skills in cross-functional project leadership.
• Exhibit excellent communication and persuasive abilities.
• Capable of navigating complex problems and fostering strategic thinking.
• Extensive experience in stakeholder management.
• Proficient in contract negotiations on an international scale.
• Innovative thinker with the ability to think outside the box.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to independently conduct market and industry analysis.
• Expert in performing spend and demand analysis.
• Comprehensive knowledge of assessing, screening, and selecting suppliers, including significant application of TCO.
• Expertise in RFx development and execution, as well as e-procurement/e-auction processes.
• Highly skilled in international contract negotiations.
• Solid background in Supplier Relationship Management.
• In-depth understanding of governance, policies, and procedures.
• Experience in risk management.
• High level of industry knowledge.
• Familiarity with Corporate Social Responsibility principles.
• Strong project management and leadership abilities across functions and cultures.
• Thorough knowledge of financial instruments and analytical tools.
• Extensive proficiency in office software applications.
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written); proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience in strategic and tactical procurement at a regional or global level.
• International work experience in a related industry or category.
• Master's degree (Engineering or Business School).
