This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +1 more state.
• Oversee the commercial, strategic, and tactical operations of electronic components and/or electronic contract manufacturing suppliers.
• Establish and sustain a competitive supply base to guarantee the availability of Solventum products.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance via contractual agreements, business reviews, and scorecards.
• Direct and execute solutions related to contract negotiations, category strategies, supplier management, sources of supply, and dual-sourcing decisions.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Business, and Regulatory affiliates to address issues and finalize strategic projects.
• Foster continuous supply chain improvement practices, including lead-time reductions, supply chain agility, capacity availability, cost reductions, risk assessments, and mitigations.
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes, contract negotiations, benchmarking, make-versus-buy analyses, should-cost analyses, total-cost analyses, supply-chain mapping, and New Product Introduction initiatives.
• Adhere to corporate policies, procedures, and security standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND seven (7) years of experience in electronic components and/or electronics finished goods contract manufacturing.
• Experience in managing and developing supplier relationships.
• Proficient in negotiating supplier or manufacturing contracts.
• Familiarity with electronics contract manufacturing, including components such as PCBAs, displays, pumps/motors, power supplies, or cables.
• Skilled in resolving intricate supply chain issues involving multiple stakeholders, utilizing decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Knowledgeable in Supply Chain Finance, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), product validation requirements, or regulatory expectations.
• Experience in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on complex projects.
• Proven ability to manage projects, including coordinating timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables across cross-functional teams.
