This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Lead and manage a team of around 10 Solutions Specialists tasked with generating new business at the course and departmental levels.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, provide field coaching, and participate in joint customer engagements.
• Foster a culture centered on performance, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Guide data-driven territory planning and sales execution that aligns with discipline standards.
• Ensure the creation and advancement of a high-quality sales pipeline through the sales funnel.
• Analyze opportunity strategies and offer feedback on positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation.
• Assist in coaching and providing tactical guidance for high-potential or complex opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product Consultants to engage subject-matter experts and deliver high-stakes presentations.
• Promote excellence in demo delivery, solution mapping, and value messaging.
• Align with Account Directors to achieve departmental successes and institutional strategies.
• Work in partnership with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Technology teams.
• Ensure accurate forecasting and maintain pipeline hygiene within Salesforce.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), lead weekly sales reviews, and identify opportunities for coaching and territory optimization.
• Recruit, onboard, and nurture the development of Solutions Specialists.
• 5–7+ years of experience in sales, education, or EdTech roles with a strong track record of new business success.
• 1–3+ years of experience in team leadership, coaching, or mentoring, whether formal or informal.
• Proven ability to coach sales professionals in discovery, value-based selling, demonstrations, and closing techniques.
• Strong comprehension of consultative sales processes and strategies for competitive displacement.
• Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), data analysis, and territory planning.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel to campuses, regional meetings, and events as necessary.
• Experience in leading or supporting specialized, discipline-aligned sales teams.
• Knowledge of higher education markets, faculty workflows, and digital learning solutions.
• Experience collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams is essential.
• A background in teaching or academia is a plus.
