Regional Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and monitor the asset recovery procedures within the designated region.

• Lead, mentor, and support Asset Recovery Representatives.

• Collaborate with Logistics and asset management teams to enhance collections and optimize resource allocation.

• Supervise transportation expenses and select cost-effective carriers and methods.

• Identify and resolve operational challenges related to transport, collections, and customer interactions.

• Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain a zero-harm compliance in all recovery operations.

• Evaluate collection performance, delivering weekly reports and actionable recommendations.

• Promote continuous improvement in asset recovery processes, tools, hardware, and resources.

• Directly lead a team of up to 30 LVR Representatives.

• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety protocols, reporting requirements, and other expectations.

• Enhance collection volume and boost operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Operations Planning, Global Asset Productivity, and internal support teams.

• Manage the integration of additional CHEP service areas with LVR.

• Monitor the P&L performance of the LVR fleet.

• Maintain staffing levels and CIFOT/DIFOT service standards.

• Work closely with account owners to enhance volume, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

• Develop and oversee continuous improvement initiatives for LVR Fleet Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside within the Mid-Atlantic region and be relatively near a major airport.

• Willingness to travel 50% within the assigned region.

• High School Diploma is required.

• 3-5+ years of experience in People Leadership.

• Minimum of 3 years in P&L management/ownership.

• Experience in developing Performance Reporting and KPI programs.

• Strong leadership capabilities.

• Familiarity with CHEP’s Asset Management strategies.

• Knowledge of current LTL and Route optimization strategies.

• Understanding of DOT Regulations.

• Capability to lead intricate regional transportation execution plans.

• Comfortable making real-time adjustments to established plans.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Self-motivated and customer-focused.

• Knowledgeable about CHEP’s supply chain and overall strategy.

• Ability to convey logistical challenges to other business functions.

• Comfortable providing guidance to indirect reports.

• Capable of creating and implementing a vision within a new solutions environment.

• Experience in leading complex teams.

• Proficient in Transportation Management Systems.

• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.

• Knowledge of DOT eLog Systems (e.g., JJ Keller Encompass).

• Understanding of Customer Service Strategies.

• Experienced in P&L Management.

• Proficient in Salesforce.

• Skilled in Strategic Workforce Planning.
