Regional Integrated Management Systems Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Lead and assist in the planning, execution, certification, and upkeep of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 management systems across North American locations.

• Coordinate and sustain the regional Integrated Management System (IMS) framework, ensuring it aligns with global standards and corporate goals.

• Create, review, and oversee IMS documentation, including policies, procedures, work instructions, and forms.

• Convey system updates and process modifications at all organizational levels.

• Organize, coordinate, and execute internal audits, while providing support for external certification and regulatory audits.

• Identify gaps, non-conformities, and opportunities for improvement; drive the closure of corrective action plans.

• Monitor, analyze, and report on IMS performance metrics, risks, and trends through monthly critical analysis reports.

• Assist sites in defining and tracking IMS objectives, targets, and KPIs.

• Offer coaching, guidance, and training to site teams to ensure uniform application of IMS requirements.

• Foster continuous improvement, standardization, operational discipline, and root cause problem-solving.

• Promote cross-functional collaboration to tackle systemic challenges and enhance organizational performance.

• Evaluate contractor performance and ensure compliance with IMS expectations.

• Stay informed about OSHA, MSHA, and EPA requirements, ensuring system compliance with legal obligations.

• Advocate for safe work practices, hazard recognition, and ethical behavior.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, or a related field.

• A Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, or a similar discipline is preferred.

• Experience in conducting internal and/or external audits; ISO auditing experience is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective action processes, and methodologies for continuous improvement.

• Familiarity with OSHA, MSHA, EPA, or comparable regulatory frameworks.

• Experience in implementing, maintaining, or enhancing ISO-certified management systems.

• Training or certification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and/or ISO 50001 standards.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to operate independently, manage various priorities, and influence stakeholders across a geographically dispersed organization.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and document control systems.

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, mining, or other operational contexts is an advantage.

• Knowledge of energy management systems, sustainability initiatives, or environmental programs is a plus.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.
