Regional Director of Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Lead strategic operations initiatives.

• Provide technical support in the field.

• Oversee centralized operations activities.

• Guide and assist engineering personnel to cultivate a high-performing team.

• Enhance building operations through integrated facilities management and engineering.

• Create and uphold a strategic plan for the engineering team.

• Manage the service center, security, data management, and EHS teams.

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with client facilities.

• Implement and oversee computerized maintenance management systems.

• Administer the JLL Engineering Services Compliance Program.

• Design and execute training programs based on skills assessments and safety needs.

• Supervise the development and implementation of energy management initiatives.

• Ensure consistent maintenance management practices across the portfolio by overseeing engineering staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• At least 10 years of direct supervision experience in multi-building operations.

• In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems in commercial and critical facilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Strong organizational abilities and a collaborative management approach.

• Capability to read and understand instructions, brief correspondence, and memos.

• Ability to write straightforward correspondence and instructions.

• Proficiency in explaining operational and mechanical issues in a clear and simple manner.

• Effectively communicate and present information to customers, clients, and colleagues.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

• Preferred: Undergraduate degree in business administration, engineering, engineering technology, or a related field.

• Preferred: Experience with energy management and efficiency programs.

• Preferred: Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems.

• Preferred: Knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations.

• Preferred: Experience in developing and implementing standard processes for utility consumption reporting.
