Lead Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create intricate code based on functional specifications across various teams and programs.

• Execute logic and algorithm design in accordance with established standards.

• Enhance and maintain the codebase, focusing on data design, performance, security, reliability, and overall quality.

• Comprehend and contribute to the software architecture.

• Establish initial implementation standards and guidelines for technical specifications.

• Conduct intricate peer code reviews and analyses.

• Evaluate the wider implications of software modifications across teams and programs.

• Guide, mentor, and offer constructive feedback to team members.

• Communicate observations regarding team technical capabilities to leadership.

• Design, contribute to, and spearhead the implementation of the delivery pipeline.

• Apply practices for test automation, security, and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Extensive experience in managing complex systems analysis, design, and development initiatives.

• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages, such as Java/Spring or Angular/TypeScript.

• Significant experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

• Demonstrated experience with build environments and delivery pipelines.

• Familiarity with continuous software delivery, test automation, and continuous integration tools.

• Expertise in fostering and enhancing the technical skills of fellow team members (preferred).

• Proven ability to influence, inspire, and mobilize team members and program leadership (preferred).

• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, including a commanding executive presence (preferred).

• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring teams through the conceptualization, design, implementation, and delivery of high-quality outputs (preferred).
