Regional Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the overall performance and growth of the region.

• Directly oversee, mentor, develop, and hold Executive Directors accountable for revenue generation, mission fulfillment, volunteer engagement, and organizational objectives.

• Convert enterprise strategies into regional priorities and ensure consistent execution.

• Utilize data, business acumen, and market opportunities to identify risks and opportunities while guiding talent and resource decisions.

• Collaborate with influential volunteer leaders and supporters to further the Foundation’s mission and establish sustainable growth.

• Travel across major market areas (Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego) to engage with constituents and act as a key leader for the Foundation.

• Enhance chapter boards and volunteer leadership teams.

• Take ownership of regional fundraising performance, maximizing growth and return on investment.

• Mentor Executive Directors on strategy, performance gaps, corrective actions, and change leadership.

• Foster alignment across chapters in communications and enterprise-wide initiatives.

• Lead, mentor, and develop Executive Directors while cultivating a strong regional leadership pipeline.

• Participate in the Extended Field Leadership Team to align and drive the regional growth strategy.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is required.

• More than 10 years of experience in an Executive or Senior Management role within a voluntary health organization.

• Proven history of successful fundraising experience that includes special events, corporate and foundation contributions, donor cultivation, public relations, and stewardship.

• Experience in identifying, recruiting, and collaborating with volunteers to achieve desired outcomes.

• Demonstrated skills in data analytics, strategic thinking, committee leadership, account management, and volunteer development.

• Experience in influence management and the ability to exercise persuasive authority over employees while fostering trust, teamwork, and collaboration.

• Background in various communication forms, including mass media, advertising, and community relations within the healthcare service sector.

• Proven experience leading through change and building cohesive teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
