This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +7 more states.
• Engage in face-to-face sales activities across the designated territory, which includes meetings with advisors/producers, training seminars, agent conferences, back-office training sessions, appointments, and other field-based interactions.
• Build and sustain business relationships with advisors through proactive outreach and visits.
• Discover new advisor partnerships and business prospects, supporting them through focused sales campaigns, phone calls, follow-ups, and virtual meetings.
• Create and implement a territory sales strategy in collaboration with sales leadership and key distribution partners.
• Prioritize advisor opportunities, travel, competing activity requests, and sales initiatives to optimize annuity sales and enhance territorial impact.
• Utilize company reporting, Salesforce, and other resources to pinpoint opportunities, assess territory trends, direct sales efforts, and document advisor interactions and follow-ups.
• Manage travel, entertainment, sponsorship, and other territorial resources in a responsible manner.
• Complete precise expense reporting and identify opportunities for increased efficiency and return on investment.
• Stay updated on F&G products, programs, practices, resources, and the competitive landscape.
• Promote F&G solutions, address advisor requirements, and identify sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with the National Sales VP, National Accounts VPs, National Account Managers, Senior Internal Wholesalers, and other internal stakeholders.
• Relay product, competitive, relationship, and territory information to both internal and external parties.
• Take ownership of commitments, organization, follow-through, and execution in line with territory priorities and sales goals.
• Participate in team discussions, share best practices, and assist the wider sales organization.
• Undertake additional functions, duties, and projects as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree; preferably in Business or Marketing, or equivalent industry experience.
• Preferred industry-recognized designations include CLU, ChFC, or CFP.
• A minimum of 3 years of wholesaling experience is preferred.
• Proven success in sales and/or marketing roles.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a home office setting.
• Proficiency in company applications, including Salesforce, illustration software, MS Teams, and PowerPoint, or the ability to acquire proficiency.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional presentation abilities.
• Strong skills in time management, organization, prioritization, and follow-up.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and/or securities.
• Ability to cultivate effective working relationships within the organization.
• A coachable attitude and a commitment to ongoing personal development.
• Strong computer skills.
• Regular and punctual attendance is required.
• Approximately 50% travel is expected.
